With our implementation of Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions (SOCD), the keyboard prioritizes your most recent input whenever two opposing movement keys are pressed at the same time. This temporarily suppresses the previous input, enabling faster and more precise directional changes. Quick Tap is turned off by default and can be easily enabled, disabled, and configured via the be quiet! IO Centre software or the FN function layer (FN+Q).
